Juan Manuel Trujillo
Over 20 years of experience in emerging markets with a primary focus on Latin America. Partner at major international law firms advising multiple governments and private-sector clients in connection with pioneering and high-profile matters, including the first bi-national sovereign investment fund in Latin America, the largest exploration copper project in Eastern Europe, restructuring of Chile’s public transportation system, multiple privatizations in Latin America, Bolivia-Brazil gas pipeline, and complex international restructuring, litigation and arbitration matters. Recognition by industry peer publications such as Chambers Global and Latin America, Legal 500, and Latinvex’s 100 most influential lawyers in Latin America
Victor Antillon
Over 20 years of experience in designing out-of-the-box structured financial solutions to non-traditional projects and situations. Held senior positions in New York and Mexico, at several institutions including Director Structured Finance-Capital Markets at WestLB AG (New York) and as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Finance Director of two publicly-traded companies. Led issuer financial team in US$3.3 billion largest Mexican IPO and structured over US$3 billion in senor debt for multiple projects and clients.
Javier de Frutos
Javier de Frutos is a partner at the investment firm SLBC Global in New York overseeing the firms’ investment activities. During his more than 30 years’ experience, he has held executive positions in investment banking and private financing in New York, Mexico and Madrid focusing on capital markets and proprietary investments. He was actively involved in structuring, marketing and executing more than $10 billion placements in listed and non-listed companies in Europe and North America.
Prior to joining Slbc Global, Javier was responsible for BBVA’s proprietary investments in private equity and debt in North and Latin America. During the period 2003-2006, he was the CEO of Bancomer’s brokerage firm leading the development and growth of BBVA’s equities activities in the Americas.
Javier is the Chairman of EFFAS Commission on Financial Reporting representing more than 22 European countries and is a member of the IFRS Advisory Council.
Javier holds an economic degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master’s in Economics from New York University.
David Perez
Over 25 years of experience in legal and financial markets. Our Firm’s country representative in Spain. Extensive experience in financial matters, including maritime leasing and structured finance. Spearheads the construction and development of shipping yards throughout Spain, Northern Europe and Asia.
